Ayanna Nneka Smith, a 26-year-old woman from Enterprise, Alabama, was last seen on January 21, 2017, around 10:00 p.m. near her home on West Brunson Street. That evening, witnesses heard gunshots in the parking lot of the apartment complex where she lived. Her boyfriend, Malcolm Hunter, was later seen driving her car to a bank ATM, but Ayanna was not with him. When police recovered the car, they found her phone, wallet, and a large amount of blood in the vehicle, but no sign of Ayanna herself.
