Dawud Qayyim Karriem, aged 87, was last seen on February 7, 2017, in Pasadena, California. He was in good health for his age and often took walks around the local area, despite his poor eyesight and reliance on a cane for mobility. It was uncharacteristic of Karriem to leave without informing anyone, which raised concerns when he went missing. He did not own a car and was known for walking frequently in the Pasadena neighborhood.
