In the quiet hours before dawn on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017, 64-year-old Patrick Boyd Kennedy set out for his customary morning walk from his home in Tucson, Arizona. It was a routine he followed regularly, a path that would typically take him east on Tanque Verde Road, heading towards Redington Pass.
