On July 21, 1974, 9-year-old Jean Marie "Jeanie" Schoen disappeared from Jacksonville, Florida. She was last seen leaving her grandmother’s house on West 19th Street to walk to a nearby store, Hanna’s Food Store, about two blocks away. Jean purchased a pack of cigarettes for her uncle but initially forgot them and had to return to the store. Afterward, she was reportedly seen at a local arcade called The Hangout, where witnesses stated a man with "Elvis-like" hair dragged ...
