On August 1, 1974, six-year-old Mylette Anderson and her eleven-year-old sister, Lillian "Annette" Anderson, vanished from their home in Jacksonville, Florida, under mysterious circumstances. Their mother and older sister had left them alone around 6 p.m. to visit a sick relative, and everything seemed normal during a 7 p.m. phone call between their mother and the girls.
