In the winter of 1984, an 83-year-old woman named Marion Henrietta Bowers vanished during a purported shopping trip to Tucson, Arizona. On December 12th, the day she was last seen, her adult son claimed he had driven her from her home in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, to the Sears department store located at the Park Mall on East Broadway Boulevard.
