Joseph Bertone, a 49-year-old man from McKeesport, Pennsylvania, was last seen on June 17, 1985. Bertone was known for his connections to organized crime and had a history in the drug trade. On the evening of his disappearance, he left his home around 9:30 p.m. after speaking to his wife, who asked him to pick up some groceries. He called her at 10:00 p.m. from his car, stating he was at a truck garage in Duquesne. However, he never returned home and was never heard from again.
