He informed his wife that he was planning a business trip to Cancun, Mexico, but it remains unclear whether he ever made it to his destination. Capellan, who worked in the information technology industry, disappeared without a trace, and no further contact has been made with him since that day.
Capellan, originally from the Dominican Republic, had no history of prior disappearances, and his case has puzzled authorities for decades. His vehicle and personal items were not found, adding to the mystery. At the time of his disappearance, Capellan was described as a Hispanic male, about 5'10" and 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. It is possible he was wearing a gold bracelet engraved with "Ramon."
