Eric Glenn Owens, a 17-year-old from Daingerfield, Texas, was last seen on September 6, 1990. His disappearance occurred just one day after his 15-year-old girlfriend, Martha Dunn, also went missing. Both teenagers are classified as runaways, and it is believed they left together. There were theories that they may have traveled to Hayworth, Oklahoma, where Eric’s aunt lived, or possibly to Kansas, where Eric’s mother resided. However, none of these theories have been confirmed.
There were reported sightings of the pair in Durant, Oklahoma, with a friend claiming to have seen them appearing disheveled and hungry. Despite efforts by law enforcement to follow up on these sightings, they were unable to locate the teens. Eric and Martha were both known to be involved with drugs at the time, and it’s possible their disappearance is related to their drug use, although no foul play has been confirmed.
