Francisco Javier Mendoza, 27, disappeared on June 8, 1994, from Toppenish, Washington. On the night of his disappearance, Francisco was last seen at a 7-11 convenience store around 1:30 a.m. He had left his home earlier that evening with two friends, who later claimed that their vehicle had broken down. According to their account, Francisco decided to walk back to town to get help, but he was never seen again.
