Linda Louise Fledderman, aged 32, was last seen in the early hours of August 17, 1996, at the Myakka City Bar and Grill in Myakka City, Florida. She had spent the evening with her long-term boyfriend, Jefferson Lowry Blanton. Later that day, Blanton was found shot to death in their shared home, with no signs of struggle or forced entry.
