Sonya Lawona Tukes, a 22-year-old woman from Tennille, Georgia, disappeared under suspicious circumstances on May 9, 2004. She was last seen at her sister's residence, where she had gone to bed around 10:00 p.m. that evening. At approximately 1:15 a.m., Sonya received a phone call and is believed to have stepped outside to take the call. When her family awoke around 5:00 a.m., Sonya was missing, with no signs of forced entry. She has not been heard from since.
