In the early hours of April 7, 2015, the life of the Lane family was irrevocably changed. Aaron Levar Lane, a 36-year-old tugboat worker, was on duty at the San Sioux Landing in Osceola, Arkansas. At approximately 1:30 a.m., in the darkness that blanketed the Mississippi River, Aaron fell overboard between two tugboats and disappeared into the cold water.
