Albert Joe Douglas, a 60-year-old man, was last seen on January 14, 2017, in Dallas, Texas. He was reported missing by his family in February of that year after they had lost contact with him. Unfortunately, Douglas's disappearance took a tragic turn when it was later revealed that he had been the victim of a kidnapping and murder. Dallas police linked his case to a former Dallas police officer, Bryan Riser, who was charged with two counts of capital murder.
Riser was implicated by a witness who testified that he had ordered the kidnapping and murder of both Douglas and another individual, Liza Saenz, in separate incidents during 2017.
