In the early summer of 2017, family members of 26-year-old Cynthia 'Cindy' Orsborn grew concerned when they hadn't seen or heard from her. On June 21, they officially reported her as a missing person to the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's Office. They informed deputies that the last time they had contact with Cynthia was on June 13, when she was dropped off at a friend's residence in the Natchitoches area.
