In the quiet community of Green Lane, Pennsylvania, a heart-wrenching mystery began to unfold on the evening of March 3, 2018. Anthony Pasquale Capasso, a 28-year-old male, was last seen at his home. He informed his pregnant fiancée that he was going to a friend's house and would be back in a few hours, a promise that has yet to be fulfilled. He left his residence sometime between 6:00 p.m. on March 3rd and the early morning hours of March 4th, driving his father's car. His departure marked the last time he was seen or heard from by his loved ones, leaving behind a void filled with unanswered questions and growing concern. The initial hours of his absence bled into a full day, and hope began to mingle with fear. A significant and troubling discovery was made in the early morning of March 5th when the car Anthony had been driving was found abandoned in Philadelphia. The vehicle was located on the shoulder of the ramp from US Route 1 South to Interstate 76, in the Fairmount Park area. Inside the car, investigators found Anthony's wallet and identification, but perplexingly, the car keys were missing. The location of the abandoned vehicle, miles away from his Green Lane home, added a layer of complexity to the investigation, deepening the mystery of his whereabouts. At the time of his disappearance, Anthony Capasso was described as a white male, standing between 6 feet and 6 feet 6 inches tall, and weighing between 310 and 360 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and wore a goatee. A notable physical characteristic is that he wears a full set of dentures. When he was last seen, he was wearing a distinctive outfit consisting of a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt with a bright yellow hood liner, an orange t-shirt with the sleeves cut off that had stains from driveway sealer, gray basketball shorts, and fluorescent, brightly colored blue and black sneakers. He may have also been wearing a white metal locket that held a photograph of a baby girl. The circumstances surrounding Anthony's case are particularly poignant as his disappearance came at a time of personal struggle and hope for a new beginning. It has been reported that he had a history of substance abuse and had recently experienced a relapse. His family has shared that he was planning to return to a rehabilitation facility, and it is believed his trip out that evening was intended to be a last indulgence before seeking help again. This context presents several possibilities, from an accidental overdose to potential foul play, though no evidence has surfaced to support any specific theory. Despite searches and the passage of time, no further clues have emerged, and his case remains an active and unresolved missing person investigation. The lack of answers has left his family, including the child he never had the chance to meet, in a prolonged state of uncertainty, holding onto hope for closure.
