In the rugged expanse of the Alaskan wilderness, the climbing community lost two of its brightest stars in early March 2018. Marc-André Leclerc, a 25-year-old male, and his climbing partner, George 'Ryan' Johnson, 34, vanished after pioneering a new route on the north face of the Mendenhall Towers, approximately 12 miles from Juneau, Alaska.
