Described as a fun person to be around, her family remembers her as someone who, despite any personal struggles, would never just leave her children. It was completely out of character for her to fall out of contact with her loved ones, which is why her sudden silence was so alarming. The last confirmed sighting of Tareaha was in Valdosta, Georgia, though the exact date is somewhat unclear, with sources citing both April 12th and April 13th, 2018.
The circumstances surrounding Tareaha's disappearance are shrouded in uncertainty. Investigators believe she was last at her home on River Lane, where it appeared she had left in a hurry. This detail, combined with her uncharacteristic lack of communication, immediately raised red flags for her family. Her aunt, Nicole Washington, was prompted to contact the Valdosta Police Department after receiving a flood of concerning social media messages. Despite the efforts of law enforcement, very little information has emerged about her whereabouts since she was last seen.
