Jeffrey James Hammer, a 23-year-old from Omak, Washington, was last seen on May 9, 2018, in Brewster. He was spotted at the Columbia Cove Park Boat Launch area around 9:00 p.m., and his vehicle was later found abandoned in the same area. At the time of his disappearance, Hammer was believed to be on foot, wearing a dark hoodie, blue jeans, and gray shoes with orange laces. He also had a tattoo of his last name, "HAMMER," on his right forearm.
