Maria Jimenez-Rodriguez, a 29-year-old paralegal and mother, was last seen on the morning of June 21, 2018, in Houston, Texas. She had dropped off her four-year-old daughter at the babysitter's house before leaving for work. However, Maria never arrived at her job. That same morning, a coworker received concerning texts from her phone, including one that stated she was being followed by men in a red truck. These messages raised suspicion, as they did not match Maria's usual texting style.
