Axel Domingo Talavera Muñoz, a 25-year-old Nicaraguan, disappeared on July 29, 2018, near Falfurrias, Texas, after attempting to cross into the United States. Axel had communicated with his family shortly before his disappearance, stating he was navigating around the Falfurrias Border Patrol checkpoint, a known hazardous route for migrants.
