Dylan Sanford, a 27-year-old father, was last seen in Somersworth, New Hampshire, on December 5, 2018. He had spent the previous night at a house on Market Street and left that evening to purchase cigarettes, but he never returned. The last contact anyone had with Dylan was a phone call to the mother of his young son, during which he mentioned that he had accidentally overdosed on drugs and had to be revived with Narcan.
Three days later, his wallet, containing only a medical card belonging to his son's mother, was found in a yard about half a mile from where he was last seen.
Dylan had recently completed a 30-day rehabilitation program for substance abuse and was reportedly trying to turn his life around. Despite his struggles, his family maintains that it was unlike him to disappear without maintaining contact, especially with his son. Dylan was running a successful carpet installation business at the time of his disappearance.
In September 2019, graffiti appeared throughout the area suggesting that Dylan had been murdered, and authorities conducted a search of a local residence based on a tip. However, this search did not uncover any new evidence. As of today, his case remains unsolved, and his family continues to search for answers.
