Ralph Hampton Miller, age 17, was last seen on September 19, 1970, in Lakeland, Florida. On that day, his mother reported seeing him in bed before she left for work. When she returned, Ralph was gone and has not been heard from since. Initial details about his disappearance were scarce, and no substantial leads emerged for several years.

Several reports surfaced later, including claims from friends who reportedly last saw Ralph on September 26, 1970, a week after he was last seen by his mother. These friends had planned to attend a concert in Orlando with him but stated that instead, Ralph was taken to a place called "The Pines," a local gathering spot near Banana Lake. There, rumors suggest Ralph may have been killed due to accusations of being a police informant, though these accounts remain unverified.

Despite ongoing investigations and new theories over the years, Ralph's case remains unsolved. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the disappearance, and authorities are still seeking any information that may provide answers in this cold case.
