Laurel Mary Lesh, a 31-year-old woman from Warren, Michigan, was last seen on March 2, 1989. Around 5:45 p.m., she left her home, telling her boyfriend she had an appointment. However, she never returned. The following day, her black 1987 Dodge Daytona was found abandoned and locked in an apartment complex parking lot near Seven Mile and Outer Drive in Detroit, a significant distance from her Warren residence. The car was empty, and there were no signs of Laurel.
