On September 27, 1990, a 50-year-old man named James Lawrence Day, known to some as Larry, disappeared from the area around Montague Island, Alaska. He was the owner and operator of the fishing vessel 'Days End'. On that late September day, conditions in the Gulf of Alaska were challenging, and it is believed that Mr. Day encountered trouble at sea. The circumstances surrounding what happened remain unclear, but it marked the last time anyone had contact with him.
