Dorcas Loritta Davis, a 49-year-old woman from Oakland, California, was last seen on August 21, 2000. She had been staying at the Shepherd's Gate Battered Women's Shelter in Livermore and was treated at Highland Hospital in Oakland the same day, but after that, she was never heard from again. Dorcas’s family became concerned when she did not return, and her brother reported her missing. Despite searches and ongoing investigations, no significant leads have emerged regarding her whereabouts.
