In the late afternoon of a winter day in Gaffney, South Carolina, Chaka Jay Wood was last seen by her family. It was February 15, 2017, and the 32-year-old had been at church with her loved ones around 5:30 p.m. Following the church service, Chaka reportedly made a phone call to a friend, arranging for them to come and pick her up.
