Scott Joseph Godsey, 54, was last seen on July 9, 2018, in Port Charlotte, Florida. On July 11, he was captured on surveillance using his EBT card at a Publix grocery store at approximately 11:30 a.m., which is the last confirmed sighting of him. He was reported missing by his sister on September 1, 2018.
At the time of his disappearance, Godsey was homeless and living at a local homeless camp. His bicycle, his primary mode of transportation, was found at the camp after he vanished. Godsey, who was classified as disabled, was known for having a distinctive tattoo of a winged dragon on his right arm and a stemmed rose on his left arm.
Despite search efforts, few details have surfaced about what happened to him after he was last seen. His case remains unsolved, and authorities continue to seek any information that could help locate him or explain the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
