At the time he went missing, Matthew was described as being 4 feet tall and weighing approximately 46 pounds. He is of mixed Black and White ethnicity, with black hair and brown eyes .
The Tulsa Police Department quickly became involved in the case, classifying it as a missing persons report. Detective Stacy Kelly was assigned to the investigation, and efforts were made to locate Matthew and ensure his safety .
