On February 3, 2025, 33-year-old Wayne O’Hara Miller Jr. left his home in Sardis, Mississippi, to run errands. He borrowed a car from a family member and was last seen on surveillance footage near the intersection of Highway 51 and Highway 315 in Sardis. This was the last confirmed sighting of him.
Before his disappearance, Wayne spoke to his mother, Annette Haynes. He mentioned he was heading to Memphis and promised to get her something nice for her upcoming birthday. These words would be the last she heard from her son.
Two days later, on February 5, 2025, Wayne's borrowed vehicle was found abandoned near Zodiac Park in South Memphis, Tennessee. The car had a missing tire, and the keys were left inside. There was no sign of Wayne, and his cell phone has not been recovered.
