On the morning of November 12, 1993, 34-year-old Jane McDonald-Crone left her home near Magnolia, Texas, for her job at Baker-Hughes Tool Company in Houston. She was also attending North Harris County College in Tomball, Texas, at the time . Jane was a mother of two and lived with her husband and children. Her routine departure that day would mark the beginning of a perplexing disappearance that remains unsolved over three decades later.
After leaving work on November 12, Jane reportedly visited several nightclubs in northwest Harris County, including the City Limits Club, Willie's Night Life Club, and Twigs Club. She was last seen around 1:00 a.m. on November 14, dancing with an unidentified man described as approximately 5'11", 160 pounds, with dark hair and a mustache, wearing blue jeans and a cowboy hat. He identified himself only as "David." Authorities have stated that Jane left the club alone after dancing with him, and he is not considered a suspect, though they wish to identify and question him .
On November 16, 1993, Jane's blue 1982 Ford Mustang, bearing Texas license plate FXY-01G, was found abandoned near the intersection of FM 2920 and Roberts Cemetery Road, just a few blocks from her home in Magnolia. Inside the vehicle were her college textbooks, but notably absent were her purse and identification. There were no signs of a struggle or violence at the scene. Witnesses reported seeing the car at that location as early as 7:00 a.m. on November 13 .
Jane's husband reported her missing on November 15, 1993. Given the circumstances, authorities suspected foul play and believed she may have been taken against her will. The FBI classified her case as a possible kidnapping . Despite extensive investigations, including submitting family DNA to national databases in 2009, no significant leads emerged. The case remained cold, with Jane's whereabouts unknown....Read More
