Discovery of the Crime Scene
On September 14, 2016, the Forest Manor neighborhood on Indianapolis' east side was shaken by a gruesome discovery. Responding to reports of blood found inside a residence in the 3000 block of Gladstone Avenue, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) initiated a search. Their investigation led them to an alley in the 2900 block of Gladstone Avenue, where the bodies of two men were found between abandoned houses. The victims were later identified as Mack Taylor, 23, and Alexander Brown, 24.

Mack Taylor was a well-known figure on the east side of Indianapolis.
