Seth Fairbanks was a 29-year-old pilot from McGrath, Alaska, known for his adventurous spirit and dedication to helping others. He gained recognition through his appearances on the Discovery Channel's "Yukon Men," where he showcased his piloting skills by assisting residents in remote areas. Beyond television, Seth was deeply involved in humanitarian efforts, including trips to South Sudan to build water wells. He was also a devoted father to young twin daughters.
On August 7, 2015, Seth piloted a Piper PA-18 Super Cub with passenger Anthony Hooper, 23, also from McGrath. Their flight ended in tragedy when the plane crashed into the waters of Knik Arm near Anchorage. The aircraft was later found partially submerged and overturned in the mudflats, but neither Seth nor Anthony were located at the scene.
In a critical moment after the crash, a 69-second satellite phone call was made to the Alaska State Trooper Post in Bethel. The caller, believed to be Seth, reported standing on the plane's floats and urgently requested rescue. Due to after-hours protocols, the call was rerouted to the Fairbanks dispatch center, and the connection was lost before precise location details could be obtained. This misrouting potentially delayed the emergency response.
Search and rescue operations faced significant obstacles, including swift currents, murky waters, and rapidly changing tides in the Knik Arm area. These conditions hampered efforts to locate the missing men. While Anthony Hooper's body was recovered from Cook Inlet on August 29, 2015, Seth Fairbanks remains missing....Read More

on Vanished at Sea: The Mysterious Disappearance of Cameron Booth Off Chincoteague's Coast
He was a criminal, an abuser, likely who didn't want to face justice of his actions and took his own life because he could not face the consequences of what he did. The victims have told the family his crimes, with evidence. The family knows he was arrested and convicted of possession of CSAM. They know who and what he was. And they're all so equally sick they live in comfort that the victims don't want to retraumatize themselves over everything he put them through. Dont support this families sick parade of using a monster to get sympathy. He was never ashamed of who he was. He loudly boasted his crimes and justified them. The family shouldn't sit there and pretend, how far from reality are they to sit and post this man publicly on news outlets, websites, knowing who he is. Do they need attention that badly? They don't want the attention from the truth. The victims will never get justice. Do not pray for him o
