A Quiet Fairbanks Neighbor Who Never Came Home

On April 28, 1984, 33-year-old Roger Francis Culp vanished from the Fairbanks area of Alaska under circumstances that were troubling from the very beginning. He lived in a small community outside the city, near the Chena Ridge and Hopkinsville area, where neighbors knew each other by sight and cabins were scattered along snowy roads and river landings.
