On December 6, 1991, the city of Austin, Texas, was forever changed. At approximately 11:00 p.m., a fire was reported at an "I Can't Believe It's Yogurt!" shop on West Anderson Lane. After extinguishing the blaze, firefighters made a horrifying discovery: the nude bodies of four teenage girls—13-year-old Amy Ayers, 15-year-old Sarah Harbison, 17-year-old Jennifer Harbison, and 17-year-old Eliza Thomas—bound, gagged, and shot execution-style in the back room of the shop.
