A Beloved Figure in Fort Bend County

On July 17, 2014, the Fort Bend County community was rocked by the sudden and tragic death of 45-year-old businessman and philanthropist, Donald Joseph Leonetti. Known affectionately as the "King of Shirts," Leonetti was the founder and owner of Leonetti Graphics, a company that, over 25 years, became a cornerstone in providing uniforms, event t-shirts, and signage to countless local organizations. His generous spirit extended beyond his business; he was deeply involved in charitable activities, notably playing a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing the Ridge Pointe chapter of Fort Bend Young Life, guiding hundreds of youths towards a positive path.

The Fateful Night

The evening of July 17 began like many others for Leonetti, who joined approximately a dozen friends for a private, high-stakes poker game in a strip shopping center located in the 4000 block of Greenbriar in Stafford, Texas. These gatherings were a regular occurrence, fostering camaraderie among local businessmen and friends. However, the night's tranquility was shattered around 8 p.m. when two masked men armed with rifles forced their way into the room through a back door. The assailants demanded that the players empty their pockets, seizing approximately $20,000 in cash.
