Edward Washington, aged 27, was shot and killed on June 7, 2007, in Chicago, Illinois. The homicide occurred on the South Side of Chicago, in a neighborhood known for struggling with high crime rates during that time. According to police reports, Edward was found with multiple gunshot wounds, and despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
