Cuauhtmoc Silva, aged 30, was fatally shot on January 6, 2008, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident took place in a residential neighborhood on the city's Southwest Side. Silva was shot multiple times in what was reported as a targeted attack. He was found at the scene by responding police officers, who were called after gunfire was heard in the area.
