Esteban Martinez, aged 15, was shot and killed on December 22, 2008, in Chicago. The shooting occurred in the Little Village neighborhood, specifically near the 3000 block of South Avers Avenue. Esteban was reportedly walking when he was approached and attacked. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving due to the severity of his injuries.
