Brian Choi, a 55-year-old resident of Chicago, was fatally shot on December 30, 2009. The incident occurred in the North Park neighborhood of Chicago while Choi was inside his vehicle. Reports indicate that he was shot in the face during what appears to have been a targeted act of violence. The location and nature of the crime suggest that it may have been a robbery attempt, but police have not conclusively identified a motive.
