A 38-year-old man has been returned to Phoenix from Oregon to face a charges in connection with the slaying of a woman in 2011, records show.

Phoenix police met Darren Longoria at Phoenix International Sky Harbor Airport on Tuesday and took him into custody on suspicion of second-degree murder.

Longoria is accused of killing his then-girlfriend, 45-year-old Lynette Fraley, whose body was found seated in a wheelchair in an apartment complex under renovation in January 2011.
