Estavion Green, an 18-year-old from Chicago, was tragically shot and killed on June 13, 2011, in the South Side neighborhood of Chicago. The shooting occurred just a short distance from his home, and it came only days after Estavion had graduated from high school. According to reports, he was walking near the 5400 block of South Wood Street when he was fatally shot. Estavion was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
