Darius Parish, a 20-year-old student at St. Xavier University, was tragically shot and killed on November 27, 2011, in the West Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. Parish was studying to become a pharmacist and had graduated from Whitney Young Magnet High School. His death shook his family and community, as he was a bright young man with a promising future.
