Valentin Bahena, aged 17, was fatally shot on January 10, 2012, in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood of Chicago. The incident occurred during the early morning hours while Valentin was inside his family home. Reports indicate that Valentin was awakened by noises outside and looked through his window to investigate.
