Death by Force

Bernardo Catalan, a 19-year-old male, was killed in a shooting on March 11, 2014, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident took place in the Logan Square neighborhood, where Catalan and a 23-year-old companion were walking when they were approached by an individual who exited a vehicle and opened fire on them. After the shooting, the perpetrator got back into the vehicle and fled the scene, leaving Catalan fatally wounded. His companion was also injured but survived the attack.
