Corey Brownlee, a 32-year-old man from Chicago, was shot and killed on April 13, 2014. The incident took place in the South Side's Washington Park neighborhood around 2:40 a.m. Corey was struck in the chest during the shooting, and despite emergency responders arriving at the scene, he was pronounced dead shortly after.
