On a spring night in Denver, Colorado, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Harold Maxwell, a 19-year-old Black male, was in the parking lot of a lounge near the 4000 block of York Street on April 11, 1993. An argument broke out, the details of which remain murky, but it ended with gunfire. Maxwell was shot and killed, his future extinguished in a moment of violence.
