Danial Zafar, an 18-year-old male, was shot and killed on December 27, 2014, in Chicago. His death occurred during a particularly violent year for the city, which saw a surge in homicides. Zafar was found with fatal gunshot wounds, and despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident added to the growing number of youth deaths due to gun violence in Chicago, where young men were often caught in the crossfire of gang-related disputes or random shootings.
