On August 12, 2021, a tragic incident occurred at the Ojos Locos Sports Bar and Grill restaurant in Albuquerque, New Mexico, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Lawrence Anzures. The incident began as an argument that escalated into a violent altercation. During this altercation, Javier Vargas Vazquez, who was 22 years old at the time, is alleged to have opened fire, fatally shooting Lawrence Anzures and injuring two other individuals.
