On August 7, 2015, 17-year-old Torri Williams was fatally shot in the West Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on the 6400 block of South Justine Street. Williams was with another individual when a male suspect exited a white Cadillac and began firing shots. The second individual was also struck but survived. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.
